Dear Reiki Friends,
We are excited to welcome you to the Shamballa Reiki Level 1 & 2 Training. It will be a very healing and nourishing weekend as you discover the beautiful art of hands on healing.
Below are all the details for the training. We invite you to smile and enjoy your breathing as you read through this letter.
2025 Dates & Times
Saturday, October 4, 9:30am to 5pm
Sunday, October 5, 9:30am to 5:30pm.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to quietly settle in and be ready to start on time. Kindly turn off your mobile phone or put it on silent.

Location
At light-filled fitness studio in the east end of Kingston called Kopifit. 812A John Marks Avenue, Kingston, Ontario. The studio is right beside the Lovell Drugs Store. Breathe easy with loads of free parking on weekends in the KOPI campus.
Kindly park around the other side to get the main entrance - turn right after you pass Lovell Drugs.
What to Bring
Please bring along your lovely smile and a beginner’s heart.
Please bring a yoga bolster or 2 identical hard cushions/pillows to practice restorative yoga while receiving Reiki on the first day. Also bring along any other props that will help you to sit more comfortable on the floor such as a cushion/bolster/pillow and a blanket. We’ll be sitting on the floor on our own yoga mat for the lecture parts of the training. The studio will have yoga mats, and blocks for us to use.
A notebook and pens. We'll provide a manual.
Nut-free lunch and snacks. There’s a medium-sized fridge at the studio if you need to refrigerate your food. Or purchase your own lunch nearby. There are a handful of shops in the area, including a Food Basics, Maki Sushi, Domino’s Pizza, Pita Pit (only opens on Saturday), Tim Hortons.
Water bottle. The studio has Brita filtered water.
Please wear comfortable exercise attire as we’ll be moving around quite a bit.
A thermos for tea/coffee. We’ll have a kettle and plenty of herbal tea to keep your kidneys warm.
Indoor runners or slippers. The studio has a no outdoor shoes policy. The rubber flooring makes it hard to keep the floor 100% clean so we don’t recommend wearing only socks.
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing that covers your knees and torso (ex. tracks and t-shirt). We’ll be practicing some gentle yoga, Qi Gong, and sitting on the floor (on your yoga mat) for lectures. Feel free to layer up and bring a small blanket if you tend to get cold easily during lecture time. Keep in mind it’ll be early October when we meet.
