Dear Qi Gong Friends,

A fresh top of the week smile to you. We’re excited to welcome you back for Qi Gong in April and May! We’ll be diving a bit deeper with the Yang Tai Chi sequence and more TCM theories. Please review your first third of the Yang sequence as well as sequences learned in immersion 1 before we meet.

Below are all the details for the training. We invite you to smile and enjoy your breathing as you read. Please note the new location in the same KOPI campus.

DATES
Saturday & Sunday, April 13-14 for Immersion 3
Saturday & Sunday, May 4 & 5 for Immersion 4
TIME
9am to 4:30pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in so we can start on time.

LOCATION
The training will be held in Kingston East at KOPIFit, 812A John Marks Avenue, Kingston, Ontario K7K 7G1, Canada. This new location is in the same KOPI campus. The KOPIFit studio is at the beginning of the long driveway to the main building, where we had our immersion 1 & 2. It’s right beside Lovell Drug Store. In short, don’t go the main KOPI building.

PARKING
There is plenty of free all-day parking around the building.

WHAT TO BRING

  1. There are yoga blocks at the studio that you are welcome to borrow to sit on. Please bring along your own yoga mat and any props you need to sit on (cushions/bolsters/blocks, etc), and a blanket/shawl to keep warm. We’ll be sitting on the floor on our own yoga mat for the lecture parts of the training.

  2. Your Immersion 1 & 2 manuals, a notebook and pens. We'll provide an immersion 3 & 4 manuals.

  3. A simple a lunch (or buy your own lunch at the plaza down the street) and snacks.

  4. Your favourite thermos or mug, and your favourite tea. We’ll have the hot water kettle ready as well as some organic herbal tea, if you don’t have a preference.

  5. Water bottle - there is a water filter onsite.

  6. Please layer up and wear comfortable exercise attire as we’ll be moving around quite a bit. Weather permitting (ie no snowstorm) we’ll head out to the pond and mother nature for our practice.

  7. Kopifit has a no-outside shoes policy. For your comfort, please bring along a pair of indoor shoes, sneakers or slippers.

4pm Qi Gong/Tai Chi Practice (Teaching in Immersion 4)
4:30pm Finish for the day

SCENT-FREE
In consideration of others who have allergies, including Hang and Sarah, please attend the training scent-free: no perfume/fragrance/cologne/scented products/essential oils. Thank you.

We respect your privacy and would like to ask for your permission to take photos during the training for social media to help promote the healing Qi Gong practice. Please privately talk to us at the training if you do not wish to be in the photos.
