Dearest friends on the path of well-being,
Sarah and I are delighted to welcome you to a day for just YOU. Please take a few moments to stop, enjoy your breathing, and read up about our upcoming retreat.
DATE/TIME
Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 9:30am-3:30pm. Please arrive at around 9:15am so you have plenty of time to joyfully use the toilet, set up your mat, greet one another, and settle in. We kindly ask that you put your phone on silent and out of sight. This day is for you. Of course, we understand if you need it out for family emergencies. We also encourage you to stay for the entire day to take refuge in the nurturing support of the community and Mother Nature.
LOCATION
The “barn” is located in a private property at 3565 Stagecoach Rd, Sydenham (just south of Sydenham town). If coming from Kingston (south), look for “Forest Rd” T-junction as a landmark indicating that the barn is coming up.
When you arrive, drive down beyond the end of the driveway to your left. You will see an opening in the fence to the hayfield on your left. Pull in and park there. Please avoid parking directly under the solar panel - it moves along with the sun.
Please be mindful of small children and other living beings when driving on the property.
WHAT TO BRING
1) A beginner's mind
2) Your lovely smile
3) Water bottle, snacks and lunch - we won't have time to go out for lunch. There's a plenty of open shady space around the barn to enjoy your lunch break. We’ll have drinking water available for top ups throughout the day as well. A well nourished body is a well nourished mind.
4) We're sheltered from the elements, so this event is on rain or shine. We're still outdoors, so dress accordingly if it's chilly or warm. We recommend layers. A light blanket may be useful for savasana.
5) For hygienic purposes, please bring your own yoga mat, two identical yoga blocks (optional), and any extra props you need to sit on. We have a limited number of blocks and straps - if you have + love your own props, you may want to bring them.
7) We recommend bug spray + sunscreen.

10am Qi Gong to activate and release energy
10:45am Break
11am Gentle yoga and mindfulness practices
12:30pm Lunch
1:30pm Restorative yoga for digestion and relaxation
2:15pm Break
2:30pm Yin yoga
3:30pm Finish for the day

In consideration of others who have allergies, including Hang & Sarah, please come scent free – no perfume/cologne/scented products/essential oils. Thank you.
