Dear Qi Gong Friends,

A summer-breeze smile to you. We’re excited to welcome you to Qi Gong school soon.

Below are all the details for the Qi Gong Teacher Training - Level 1. We invite you to firmly anchor your feet, smile and enjoy your breathing as you read through them.

Registration Form

To help us accommodate your training, kindly complete this short registration form by September 10, 2026. Thank you.

Preparation for the Training

Before we begin the training, we encourage you to joyfully spend at least 10 hours practicing Qi Gong with us online with our Virtual Studio. This will help you feel familiar with the practice and Hang's style of teaching on the training.

Your tuition includes 3-months access to the Qi Gong Teacher Training - Level 1 & 2 video library for you to practice in the comfort of your home. The 3-month access takes effect as soon as you sign up.

Note: the virtual studio’s videos are stored on a third party platform called “Hey Marvelous”. If this is your first time on this platform, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Register free product” and set up your login with your email and password. Don’t forget to bookmark the page URL.

Dates & Times

This training runs over two weekends on September 19-20 and September 26-27, 2026 on Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-6pm.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in so we can start on time. Because of the smaller group, we’ll likely cover the materials fairly quickly and may finish a bit early each day.

Location

At light filled fitness studio in the east end of Kingston called Kopifit. 812A John Marks Avenue, Kingston, Ontario. The studio is right beside the Lovell Drugs Store. Breathe easy with loads of free parking on weekends in the KOPI campus.

Kindly park around the other side to get the main entrance - turn right after you pass Lovell Drugs.

What to Bring

  1. Please bring along your lovely smile and a beginner’s heart.

  2. We’ll be sitting on the floor on a yoga mat and blocks for the lecture parts of the training. The studio will have plenty of yoga mats and blocks for us to use. Bring along anything else you think you might need to help you feel comfy. There are several chairs in the studio for you to use as well, if sitting on the floor isn’t comfortable.

  3. A notebook and pens. We'll provide a manual.

  4. Nut-free lunch and snacks. There’s a medium-sized frigde at the studio if you need to refrigerate your food. Or purchase your own lunch nearby. There are a handful of shops in the area, including a Food Basics, Maki Sushi, Domino’s Pizza, Pita Pit, Tim Hortons.

  5. Water bottle. The studio has Brita filtered water.

  6. Please wear comfortable exercise attire as we’ll be moving around quite a bit. We may go down to the pond for our morning practice, weather permitting. Bring comfortable walking shoes, mosquito repellant, hat/cap, sunscreen, sunnies etc.

  7. A thermos for tea/coffee. We’ll have a kettle and plenty of herbal tea to keep your kidneys warm.

  8. Indoors runners or slippers. The studio has a no outdoor shoes policy. The rubber flooring makes it hard to keep the floor 100% clean so we don’t recommend wearing your only socks.
