To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with ourselves and with those around us. When we learn the art of mindful living, we nourish our happiness and our capacity to look deeply and transform the suffering in ourselves. When the seeds of peace and happiness have grown in our hearts, we can offer that abundance to those around us, doing our part to contribute to the well-being of the world.

In the first part of the training, we’ll start at the beginning to help you understand “What is mindfulness?” We'll share with you tools and practices to help you integrate mindfulness into your daily life, in your yoga practice, at work, home, or out and about. In the second part of the training, we’ll share with you how to impart this practice onto others such as your students, friends, colleagues, children, parents and everyone whose lives you touch.

In this course, you will be guided in various mindful activities and assigned homework to deepen your personal practice and growth. Some of the guided course activities include: guided meditation, walking meditation, silent sitting meditation and mindful movements with gentle stretching and Qi Gong. The group setting also helps support our practice as well as cultivate and regenerate our mindfulness energy.
